Hollow Rock...
What thronging memories come to this scribe as he writes that name! A camp hallowed by the presence of God and earnest, loving folk, gathered from farm, village, and city, and toilers from the mission field and from different continents. A world camp! Nestled in a quiet vale among the hills that rise up from the beautiful Ohio Hills, mild in mist, kiss the sunlight good morning or gleam with the golden draperies of moonlight. The laughing brook hurries pell mell past on its way to the river... Reverent feet hasten to the place of prayer and song and sermon... John L. Brasher Hollow Rock Campmeeting is a inter-denominational holiness camp meeting, located in Toronto, Ohio. Three services are held daily during the campmeeting at 10:30 am, 2:30 pm, and 7:30 pm. Programs are also available for children and youth. More information on these programs can be found using the menu to the left. |

At any other time of year, Hollow Rock campgrounds along county Road 51 in rural Toronto is a quiet, vacant place minus people and purpose. But that changes for 10 days each summer as the 25-acre camp with more than 100 cottages, three tabernacles, seven dorms and plenty of space for trailers and tents awakens as America’s oldest interdenominational holiness camp begins anew. |
